Mariana Araoz, argentinian-french artist specialized in puppet, mask and object theater, holds a Master's degree in Environemental Management and a Bachelor's degree in Theater Studies from the Sorbonne-Nouvelle. Director and designer of the In-Balance Method©, she is a permanent professor at the Malmö National Theater Academy in Sweden. She teaches at National Drama schools in Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, Seville, Oslo, Minneapolis and New York. She has staged more than forty shows in France, Sweden and the USA. Nominated in 2014 for the Thalia Prize in Sweden, she was also a winner of the Support Fund for the Avignon Off Festival in 2017, and the Regional Innovative Social Theater award.
